Terms of Service

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Service.
1. Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:
- Application means the web application provided by the Company, accessible at powerlibs.com
- Affiliate means an entity that controls, is controlled by or is under common control with a party, where "control" means ownership of 50% or more of the shares, equity interest or other securities entitled to vote for election of directors or other managing authority.
- Country refers to: Sankt Augustin, Germany
- Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to PowerLibs, c/o Online-Impressum.de #4974, Europaring 90, 53757 Sankt Augustin, Germany.
- Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.
- Service refers to the PowerLibs web application and component library platform.
- Terms and Conditions (also referred as "Terms") mean these Terms and Conditions that form the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of the Service.
- Third-party Service means any services or content (including data, information, products or services) provided by a third-party that may be displayed, included or made available by the Service.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
3. Acknowledgment
These are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this Service and the agreement that operates between You and the Company. These Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of all users regarding the use of the Service.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.
By accessing or using the Service You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If You disagree with any part of these Terms and Conditions then You may not access the Service.
You represent that you are over the age of 18. The Company does not permit those under 18 to use the Service.
Your access to and use of the Service is also conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with the Privacy Policy of the Company. Our Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your personal information when You use the Application and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You. Please read Our Privacy Policy carefully before using Our Service.
4. Communications
By creating an account on Our Service, You acknowledge and agree that We may send You emails related to Your account and/or the Service. These include, but are not limited to, transactional emails (such as purchase confirmations, billing notifications, and password resets), service announcements, and updates about changes to Our Service or these Terms.
You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in such emails or by contacting Us at support@powerlibs.com. However, You acknowledge that transactional and account-related emails are necessary for the operation of the Service and cannot be opted out of while maintaining an active account.
5. Service Description
PowerLibs provides a component library platform for Power Apps developers, offering:
- Ready-to-use UI components for Power Apps
- YAML code generation for easy copy-paste integration
- Component customization and settings
- Free and premium component tiers
- User accounts and subscription management
- AI integration via MCP (Model Context Protocol) for Claude.ai users
Product Tiers
- Free: Access to free components with basic functionality
- PowerLibs Base Package: One-time purchase ($99) for lifetime access to 80 base components. New components require Ultra subscription.
- PowerLibs Ultra: Subscription ($19/month or $119/year) including all Pro components plus advanced settings, variable prefix system, project management, and AI integrations
Component usage is governed by our License Agreement. Please review the license terms before using PowerLibs components in your projects.
6. User Accounts
When You create an account with us, You must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for all activities that occur under Your account.
We use secure authentication methods including magic link email authentication and Google OAuth. You must notify Us immediately upon becoming aware of any unauthorized use of Your account.
7. Account Deletion and Data Retention
You may delete Your account at any time through Your account settings or by contacting Us at support@powerlibs.com. When You delete Your account or request deletion:
- Account Data: Your personal data, account settings, and preferences will be flagged for removal and deleted from Our active systems within 30 days.
- Backups: Your data will be purged from backup systems within 90 days of deletion.
- Payment Records: Transaction and billing records are retained for 10 years as required by German tax law (Abgabenordnung, AO).
- Full Deletion Request: You may request the deletion of any remaining records (excluding those required by law) by sending a message to support@powerlibs.com.
8. Subscription Services
8.1 Billing and Payments
Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (such as monthly or annually), depending on the type of subscription plan you select.
At the end of each billing cycle, Your subscription will automatically renew unless You cancel it or the Company cancels it.
8.2 Cancellation
You may cancel Your subscription at any time through Your account settings or by contacting us. Upon cancellation, You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of Your current billing period.
8.3 Refunds
Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy. Certain refund requests may be made at Our sole discretion.
8.4 Chargeback Policy
If You have a question about charges made to Your account, please contact Us immediately at support@powerlibs.com. If the charges were made in error, We will credit Your account or issue a refund for the appropriate amount.
We strongly encourage You to contact Us before initiating a chargeback or dispute with Your payment provider. We have a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent chargebacks. Any customer who disputes a credit card or PayPal payment that is found to be a valid charge may have their account permanently suspended.
Eligible refunds will be issued to the original payment method used to make the purchase, in accordance with Our Refund Policy. We do not issue cash refunds under any circumstances.
9. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Our Service:
- For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
- To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
- To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
- To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
- To submit false or misleading information
- To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
- To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
- For any obscene or immoral purpose
- To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service
10. Intellectual Property
We claim no intellectual property rights over the data You provide to the Service. Your data remains Yours.
You acknowledge and agree that We own all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including without limitation all intellectual property rights. The Service and its original content, features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Dennis Dörflinger and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
You agree that You will not copy, reproduce, alter, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, clone, or modify the Service or create derivative works from the Service.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal or business use in accordance with these Terms.
11. Links to Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by the Company.
The Company has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that the Company shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise You to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that You visit.
12. Service Availability
We are committed to providing the Service with maximum reliability. However, You acknowledge that the Service may be subject to interruptions, including but not limited to maintenance, updates, system failures, or other circumstances beyond Our control.
We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability. Updates to the Service may result in brief periods of downtime, which We will endeavor to schedule during periods of lowest usage to minimize impact on Users.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate Your right to use the Service and terminate these Terms immediately upon written notice to You if You breach these Terms and Conditions or for other legitimate reasons as permitted by applicable law.
Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately. If You wish to terminate Your account, You may do so through Your account settings or by contacting Us at support@powerlibs.com. Data retention upon termination is governed by Section 7 of these Terms.
14. Limitation of Liability
Notwithstanding any damages that You might incur, the entire liability of the Company and any of its suppliers under any provision of this Terms and Your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You through the Service or 100 EUR if You haven't purchased anything through the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data or other information, for business interruption, for personal injury, loss of privacy arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service), even if the Company or any supplier has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if the remedy fails of its essential purpose.
It is important to note that some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, some of the above limitations may not apply to You. In such cases, Our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
15. "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer
The Service is provided to You "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, the Company expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, with respect to the Service.
Without limitation to the foregoing, the Company provides no warranty or undertaking, and makes no representation of any kind that the Service will meet Your requirements, achieve any intended results, be compatible or work with any other software, applications, systems or services, operate without interruption, meet any performance or reliability standards or be error free or that any errors or defects can or will be corrected.
16. Governing Law
The laws of Germany, excluding its conflicts of law rules, shall govern this Terms and Your use of the Service. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany. Your use of the Application may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.
17. Disputes Resolution
If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company at support@powerlibs.com.
For European Union (EU) Users: If You are a European Union consumer, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident in.
18. Statute of Limitations
You agree that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, any claim or cause of action that You may wish to assert related in any manner to the Service must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action accrued or be forever barred. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by mandatory applicable law, including EU consumer protection regulations.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
20. Changes to These Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the Service.
21. Miscellaneous
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between You and the Company relating to Your access to and use of the Service. Any additional or different terms proposed by You in any purchase order, request for proposal, or other document are hereby objected to by Us and shall be void.
The failure of the Company to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not operate as a waiver of such right or provision.
The section titles in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
These Terms are intended solely for the benefit of the parties and are not intended to confer third-party beneficiary rights upon any other person or entity.
These Terms may not be assigned or transferred by You except with Our prior written consent. The Company may assign these Terms without restriction.
These Terms may be executed and delivered electronically. Each party agrees that electronic signatures and electronic delivery shall have the same legal effect as original signatures and physical delivery.
